Or what about not having the time to stop in those places you just see through the bus where you want to have a closer look?. Or maybe you would like to be on tracks and trails which are ideal for Mountain Bike enthusiasts, be they professional or amateur... or have you ever had the chance to try it?

Biking is undoubtedly the best way to discover Sri-Lanka. We have chosen bicycling routes that are rich in wild life, scenically diverse, tranquil and exciting. Come and explore the scenic beauty of the mountains among the valleys, streams, rugged mountain terrain, lush jungles, rubber trees and tea plantations. An experience you will remember for the rest of your life. The challenging terrain of the mountains is great for enthusiasts. You will have opportunities to view birds and wild animals as well Monitors, Cormorants, Herons, King fish, Black Eagle, Mongoose and Red Monkeys.

The trip includes all gear and shuttle transportation from Boulder Garden Resort when required.

KOKAWITA CIRCUIT

The trip starts at the entrance of the Sinharaja National Park with an easy ride down to the river where we cross a native (made of bamboo) bridge. The trail follows the bank of the Wewa ganga River where you will have the chance to take a bath in natural pools, enjoying a short break. Continues with a wide path through small villages and rice fields and rubber trees where the trail becomes narrower but with a nice and flat section back to the base.

KUDUMIRIYA CIRCUIT

This trip will take you through beautiful evergreen rainforest at 521m altitude where the view of the valleys can be appreciated in full.

ELAWELLA CIRCUIT

The easiest mountain bike trip along rice fields,rubber trees, river banks and hanging bridges that would give you a great and pleasant, gentle experience. Most of the trail is actually slightly down hill or nice and flat tracks. These conditions make the trip suitable for most guests.

Some of the creeks along the trip will give you fresh water and you will be impressed by the powerful rapids of the Cowata Ganga River near that you ride along. From then on, the trip becomes an easy down hill ride to the base.

WEWAGAMA CIRCUIT

One of the most challenge biking trips where you will be amazed by the scenic views from the peaks of the surrounding hills.

KOTOLAWALLA CIRCUIT

Starts with a challenging up hill ride which takes you to the top of Delgoda hill through tea plantations. After you make it to the top the remainder of the trips will be much easier with a easy down hill back to the base.

Going through chanllenging and steep trails up and down hill where experts will feel the adrenaline and enjoy the ride. After crossing the difficult section of the trip we stop by a waterfall to to cool down. The trip continues with a nice and flat short section till we reach the Elawella bridge and return to the base.

KOSGULANA CIRCUIT

The closest biking trip of the boundaries of Sinharaja National Park. An excellent ride that mixes adventure, beauty and culture appreciation. Great for bird watching on the evergreen forest at 400 m where you will cross through little creeks, rice and rubber fields and small villages. You will start with taking the bikes up Wadagala town by truck (10 min ride from the Hotel) and starts with a nice down hill single path throught the forest. the second half part of the trail you will come along the wega ganga river offering calm and suite pounds perfect for having a break and swim in crystal clear water coming from the high hills.
